So by now I had clear up my driveway and was now able to work on my new body.
at the moment I was unemployed so i did wat i could to get the car running and did little possibly i was able to.
I added some things to my new Lude
MUDFLAPs ((gettin hard to find these))
By mid january I had done the followin:
. .well today i had to repull the motor out and bolt the transmission on it out of the car. But got it back in and now its bolt up. Just gotta add small things to it and what not plus a tune up.
For giggles i tried cranking it and YES it rotated so it looking good. TOMORROW will be the day that it turns on.
I still have to:
Put coilovers in front
Put alternator
put A.C compressor
Put belts on it
Wheels on it
Tidy up engine bay
Radiator w/ fans
coolant
Oil change
Spark plugs
and i think that should be it guys so wish me luck and hope for the best that it cranks and runs on the first try!!!!
Then on JANUARY 14 i gave birth to my current Lude:
TODAY:
-Installed radiator today with all coolant lines along with fans
-Added coolant and topped off the oil
-Checked all the main relays again
-Rechecked all my wiring and connections
Then went for the first try and she started after 2 seconds of cranking with out any hesitation. So decided to take her for a test drive. Bolted up my wheels and tighten up my axle nuts. And off I went for a test drive.
Developed code 16 after a minute of driving, which is FUEL INJECTOR
So I make it home and appereantly she was driving on 3 cylinders
I was surprised it drove on only 3!!!!
Turns out the #2 injector clip wasnt hooked up all the way.
Plug it in and reset ECU
No more check engine light and idled like it should
So a 2nd test drive was in order and she drove and felt so much stronger than the first one!!
Not to mention super loud as hell. She was running with open down pipe.
Made it home adjusted timing and added the muffler and is much quieter now.
Added some intake on it.
Now i just gotta get some HONDA power steering fluid and attach the belt then i should have power steering!!!
Still have to change out the spark plugs and wires along with the distributor cap and rotor.
Hasnt over heated or anything at all nor have I noticed any leaks of any kind
So I can proudly say I brought new life to this Prelude.
