all i have is cold air on it, an im debating to put this exhaust on it i got with the the motor i bought.

exhaust is always a + aslong as u dnt make the same mistake i coulnt avoid, that is buying/having a car with a fartin pipe as an exhaust lol

The word "ricer" gets tossed around so much it is pathetic. Mark_Mayhem until you take control of your ride and what you would like to do with it you will always be going on what people say and not what your mind and heart desires. By all means ask questions and do your research. You have a D16Z6 correct? That is a nice vtec platform to start unless you want to go B, K, or H series. If you want exhaust, shop around find you a nice header, if you run cat or catless its up to you and then try to find a bolt on exhaust. That way you will have that deep tone that you want and not that loud ass pissed off bumble bee sound.

yeah im planning to get headers an cat=back exhaust but for now i have an exhaust in the garage. i found some rims an i wanna drop it but im not sure what things i need buy or not buy for the drop. an im keeping d-seris you were right about my motor. it was so much work to put it in i dont plan on taking it out again just build on what i have in there. so any advice about the drop im preparing to do?

If I remember correctly the D16Z6 was found in the earlier OBDI SI civic coupes or in some of the EX civics as well. I think that they were tagged at 125 horsepower stock from the factory. Not to shabby to start with since you have a 95 it shouldn't have been too hard because you should have been able to use the stock D series mounts and such. the only pitfall would have been hooking up the vtec unless you car is an EX/SI and you had the wires/plugs already on your harness. I like dumped cars but I will not dump mine because I don't feel like dodging pot holes all day every day because Houston roads are horrible. if you are wanting to lower it the coilovers are the way to go, that way you can manually raise/lower the car to your liking. as far as the struts you can't go wrong with Tokico, KYB, Tein, or Skunk2. Your suspension is one of the most important things for your car because that is what controls your ride, not to mention it could make or break your car when it comes to handling (auto cross or road racing) so I wouldn't cheap out on it. In a nutshell bruh the world is yours when it comes to your ride. have fun with it.

yeah i was lucky with my car the vtech was already in the car when i bought it. i wanna dump it but not crazy low just low enough to be noticed its dropped, you know? I just want a car tht is reliable an stands out tht has my ideas in it. But this drop sounds like its gonna be pricey.

lol im going at my own pace i wanna be done with my in october for my 20th birthday i wanna travel somewhere. an im such a hypocrit saying this but i know my car is never gonna be finished. but i want it to my standards in my head by then. which is dropped,full exhaust, all the lights i want in it like headlights from japan,fogs, an all hid. my rims, an thats it. but the first thing im getting is an alarm. i dont want all that money to be gone in one night.

I hear ya. I know with my car I will be called a "ricer" but with the ideas that I have in my head they will be calling me a ricer from my rear view. Personally I don't care what people think of my car. it's mine. I pay for it. I live on my own and pay my own for my shit so I am not worried about other people.

i wanna move just scared its a big scary world out there, but yeah i fell you there on tht ricer thing. fredo was supposed to help me find some parts for my car. cause im clueless where to even began looking for this stuff.
