HOUSTON – Enjoy the beautiful weather Friday, because it is the last good day we’ll see in a while, 11 News Meteorologist David Paul said.

"Get some sun on your face today, I’m serious, because there will be no more sun starting tomorrow and continuing through next week," said Paul.

Friday will be cool and dry, with lows in the upper 40s and highs topping off just below 70 degrees.

The rain will come in Saturday afternoon and the mess will continue from there. There is a 70-percent chance for showers on Sunday, so Houston marathon runners may get soaked.

The seven-day forecast shows rain through the end of next week, with low temperatures dropping to the 30s by Wednesday and into the 20s on Thursday.
